The Village of Spencer consists of 1.03 square miles and a population of 731. NYS Routes 96 and 34 merge in the center of the Village at Tioga State Bank's headquarters. The Village hosts the Annual Spencer Picnic in August and Nichols Pond provides a quaint natural setting in the Village center. The Main Street Café on Route 96 provides a comfortable atmosphere with great food in a turn-of-the-century restored storefront. For dessert there's nothing better than ice cream on a warm summer night at R.V.'s near the town hall.
