CONNECTICUT HILL SECTION This section of the Finger Lakes Trail (FLT) starts 1 mile west of Cayuta Lake at the junction of NY Route 228 and County Road 10 (North Settlement Road), 2 miles northeast of Odessa and 7.7 miles south of Mecklenburg. At east edge of Odessa, which is 3 miles east of Montour Falls on NY Route 224, take NY Route 228 northeast 2 miles, turn sharp right on County Road 10. The Trail begins just south of intersection on east side of County Road 10 at the first hedgerow. Parking is available at the intersection and along shoulder of the Road. The section ends at the north end of the intersection of NY Routes 13, 34, and 96 two miles south of Ithaca city line and just south of the bridge over Enfield Creek.

Intermediate access points are at Cayutaville Road (County Road 6), Connecticut Hill Road, Black Oak Road (not plowed entire length in winter), Rumsey Hill Road, Trumbull Corners Road, Porter Hill Road, Hines Road, and Woodard Road.
