The tour starts in the parking area of the Montezuma National Wildlife Refuge, off Route 5 and 20, three miles east of Seneca Falls. The first four miles are on unpaved Refuge roads.
There are no concessions in or near the refuge, so you may want to bring food with you. The village of Clyde, about a third of the way through the route, has a grocery store and a couple of restaurants.
